Australia Transit – This visa is intended for those who wish to stay in Australia for a period not exceeding 72 hours, demonstrating that they are in transit to another country or with the intention of embarking as a member of maritime crew. If the objective is to embark as a member of a maritime crew, you must apply for the Maritime Crew visa (subclass 998).
From July 1, 2018, Transit Visa applications must be completed online.
