Canadian Visa Studies

The Canadian Studies visa is an entry permit for citizens who intend to visit Canada, whether for the purpose of tourism, studies or business, or with work intentions, to stay in the country legally.

Applicants for a visitor, transit, study or work permit (except US citizens), as well as permanent residence, will need to provide biometric data at VFS-VAC in the city of their choice (Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Recife or Porto Alegre).

The Consulate General of Canada does not offer priority processing, except for cases of proven emergency (death, serious illness in the family, business and work, among other more specific cases).

You documents that are not in English must be accompanied by a sworn translation.
